Gallant Venture Ltd
Gallant Venture Ltd is a public-listed company in Singapore focusing on commercial development and growth opportunities in the Riau Archipelago of Indonesia.
Since our establishment in the 1990s, we have been an important innovator in four key business segments, namely utilities, industrial parks, resort operations and property development. As an integrated master planner and developer for the industrial parks and resorts in Batam and Bintan, we also develop, own and manage Batamindo Industrial Park in Batam and Bintan Industrial Estate in Bintan. Both industrial parks are home to many MNCs with regional headquarters based in Singapore. Our major shareholders are Indonesia’s Salim Group and Singapore’s Sembcorp Development Ltd.
PT. Bintan Resort Cakrawala
Bintan Resort Cakrawala (BRC) as subsidiaries of Gallant Venture Ltd is the island operational arm of Bintan Resorts International which master plans and manages Bintan Resorts. Its roles include estate management, utilities provision, operations management, events, business and community development.
Our History
PT. Bintan Resort Cakrawala (PT. BRC) is a subsidiary of Gallant Venture Ltd. which main function is to operate resorts and property development as well as the day-to-day maintenance in Bintan Beach International Resorts, Lagoi – Northern Bintan, Riau Archipelago Province, Indonesia.
Bintan Beach International Resort was established on the cooperation between Indonesia and Singapore which were committed to developing the Northern part of the island of Bintan.
To expedite the development process of Bintan Beach International Resort (BBIR), a Riau Provincial Coordinating Team (TKKPR) was formed and appointed in 1992 by the government to facilitate the central government regulations implementation in developing BBIR.
TKPPR was formed to expedite the permitting process associated with project development of Bintan Resorts in terms of the permit process, for example, IMB, Foreign workers, Import Permits, Business licenses and so forth.
TKPPR first office was located in Tanjung Uban due to the inadequacy of office facilities and other infrastructure in Bintan Resorts. TKPPR displacement from Tanjung Uban to Lagoi took place in 1996. TKPPR function gradually implemented by PT. Bintan Resort Cakrawala (PT. BRC) in Lagoi and fully terminated in 2006.
Until now PT. BRC performs all operational functions in Bintan Resort under a subsidiary of Gallant Venture Ltd, as listed company on the Singapore Stock Exchange.

PT. Bintan Resort Cakrawala as a subsidiary of Gallant Venture Pte. Ltd (board of management) has been appointed and given the specific responsibility for resort operations and development on the island of Northern Bintan.
